    The only places to see Pelicans of any kind here is in zoos or wildlife parks. I think it's great that you have Brown pelicans in the wild where you are.

    I took a lot of shots of this one as it was in the Victoria harbour amongst the yachts etc.

    I adore chickadees, they're so cute. :D

    Your woodpeckers are such handsome birds.

    I've only seen pelicans in the zoo. I'd love to see them in the wild.

    They have beautiful ruby eyes which stand out against the dark plumage on their heads.

    Your Varied thrushes certainly have the wow factor!! I love the eye and wing stripes.

    They're a far cry from our grey, noisy thrushes. I'd love to have yours around. :D
