Our friend Barbara passed away today. She was Rons wife, a couple of friends in England that we have known many years. They came out to visit us a number of times. The last visit was to Nova Scotia, we met them in Halifax and rented a van and toured the area. I took some pictures and put them into a story for them. I would like to share it with you. We joked about getting a point if we did something good, or you lost one for things that went wrong. This is the tale. http://www.dereila.ca/scotiapoem/
So sorry to hear about the loss of Barbara. Give Ron our condolences and let him know that many here will be sending good thoughts and prayers his way through his grief.
So sorry for your loss. The memories will always be with you and that is comforting...Sending prayers....
My wife went to school with Barbara and they were out together when I asked my wife for a date. Many years ago. I played soccer for our school and played against Ron who was playing for another school. We moved to Canada and they visited us a few times and went on some great trips.
It's never easy to lose a good friend and my deepest sympathy is sent to Barbara's husband as well as to you and your wife. I looked at all the photographs and read the poems - what a lovely way to remember the trip you all took together. Friends may pass on but good memories never die.
