The Canigou in the evening light. The next morning. Building a bridge at work. The main part is finished now. The logs have been ripped for the on ramp, next week we should finish the bridge. I had to cut down this large dead tree. The trunk was too big for me to push over so the land rover helped. The wood has been split and stacked on the woodpile. Nice Morel mushrooms are up. The morning after the rain. My favourite strawberry plants with their pink flowers.
Great post, Odif. That bridge work looks substantial. The Morel's made my mouth water, mate. Oh boy! I have never grown that type of strawb. Are you pleased with it?
What a beautiful world you live in. Those morels look divine. I love the pink blooming strawberry plants. I have a variety similar but unfortunately they are just for pretty although they do bloom most of the summer. Do yours fruit?
@Jewell The pink flowering strawberries have wonderful tasting strawberries. I know here is a stunning place.
Wow! What a treat colorful blooms and great berries. Too bad you don’t live closer I’d be at your door begging for a little start.
@Sjoerd we built it out of chestnut wood it will last a few years. I reckon it could easily take the tractor, but we won’t test it. Just to drive a 4 wheel over.
Too wet to paint it. Chestnut doesn’t need painting but I will paint it with a linseed oil based paint when it is dry enough.
