Hello AA--I want to wish you a really happy birthday. I sure hope that you have lots of fun and turn it into a special and wonderful day.
Thank you very much everyone! I didn't remember that anyone here knew my birthday, and I almost missed this post. I hope your birthdays are blessed and happy, just in case I miss them. I have not gotten much done in my garden yet, so many things need done, and the weather does not always cooperate, or I have other obligations to take care of... I did get a few plants so far: rosemary, lavender (I think I killed it already), Johnny jump-ups, and strawberries. And seeds for the garden if I get so far. I hope to plant some red beets, lettuce, potatoes, new strawberries, and I forgot the rest. I have been scattering flower seeds from last summer when I finish weeding a flower bed... We have lots of things blooming already--all my different daffodils, forsythia bushes, red flowing quince, peach and pear trees. We also have freeze warnings for the rest of the week. And that Bradford pear is in full bloom. DS will cut it down as soon as he can get to it. They are terribly invasive here, so maybe the freeze is a good thing as far as my pears go? We had a lot of zero/below zero weather here in late Dec and in January, and a little bit of snow. I am okay, hope all of you are okay also. Ann
I made myself a lemon pie for my bday... and shared it with my son. He wants a turkey dinner tomorrow for his bday.
