I mentioned my parent's new cat a few weeks back and promised to get a few photos when I went back home so here they are :) Say hello to Amber.

That is a very pretty cat. I like the orange and white ones. One adopted us when we lived in Wisconsin. It showed up when dr was working on the car one snowy cold day. Whenever dr opened the hood of the car Charlie would hop up to "help" him. DR figured he must have been an auto mechanic in a previous life. Dooley

Pretty kitty Frank. I notice the fancy collar - is she perhaps a little spoiled?

What a little smasher Frank. I love marmalade cats and the third photograph is soooo cute. Butter certainly wouldn't melt in Ambers mouth would it? :-D

Btw nice name - our Great Dane was also called Amber!!

Amber would love all of your comments guys. I'll be sure to pass them on.

Polly - you would be correct in saying that Amber is spoilt :D But being a farm cat who doesn't know it yet (she is still being kept away from machinery etc... until she is strong enough) that may end pretty soon!

Just a quick note on Amber, I got a text message from my sister the other day and it could be that Amber is actually male (don't ask me, I never checked :D) so there may be a name change in order. Ambrose anyone?

Well nothing really but if we continue to call it Amber I will always think it is a girl cat. It's in there now and it's not budging :)

I don't think Amber will face any identity issues over her/his name.
