What a pity, but you are right to stop with them.

Sorry to hear that, Annie. Will you keep looking elsewhere for one?

Next year I will try to find those Casper Aubergine seeds elsewhere. Not many seed sellers have them, though.

Is peppergate coming through to this year as well? I heard so many horror stories about how peppers were all mixed and people were getting chili when they ordered habanero or they were getting reapers when they ordered bell. D:

Oh wow !! I hadn't heard. I thought it was just me !! I used to order from a small family operation in north florida but quit them due to the tons of weed seeds in the seed packet. I know it wasn't the soil I started them in because only the seeds from that company were giving me weeds.

Picked some blackberries this morning. They are just starting to ripen. There were just the lowest berries that were ripe and I had a good number of large berries eventhough it hadn't rained much this spring.
And picked a couple more Courgettes, a cuce and some tomatoes.

Annie— It is nice to see your harvest stalled out. You must be chuffed to bits.

I probably have 40 thornless blackberry bushes and keep trying to give some away. Before you know it , if they keep multiplying, (as we know they will) I'!! need a new bed !!

But don't we all love them so !!:D

    Looking good Annie :)

    Potato harvest !! :smt026 19 lbs.

These are from two red norlands and three yukon gold potatoes.

The very humongous ones are from a yukon gold that was planted with my Fava beans. I think the Fava beans and potatoes made good companions.

I didn't put them out to dry in the sun because I am not "storing" them. I am going to make french fries, mashed potatoes and par-boil some that will be cut into small chunks, (skin on the red norlands) for home fries, and freeze them all in individual portions.

Thanks @Daniel W I just finished cleaning all the dirt off them and got all the small ones cut up and cooked for putting in the freezer and making home fries with them. I should have enough for at least 9 months since I'm a one person household. :D

    Excellent Annie :)

Glad you didn't put them out to dry in the sun as that would have made them toxic

Just getting flowers on a few of our potato plants now :)

Really? Nobody ever told me that before !!:eek::eek:

Thank goodness I don't want to store them. Instead I cook and freeze them.
