Bought a garden arch & a folding 3-section garden screen from a lady on craigslist. They're not those thin, flimsy ones. They're the good heavy-duty ones. They were $25.00 each! I've been wanting a garden arch for a long time but they're just so expensive new. I've been very lucky with my garden finds this spring!

I've never regretted the money I spent on my own garden arch. I have wisteria and clematis growing up it. Mind you it wasn't the bargain yours was. :( Well done on the new additions for your garden. :-D

You sure have a "nose for bargains!" I'm envious, I admit it.
All the Craigslist here has is junk cars and BeanieBabies. :(

I guess our craigslist is pretty good. Maybe because we're so close to New York City & there are a lot of really affluent suburbs here. I guess if you're rollin' in $$$, you can just re-decorate or re-landscape on a whim & just give away really good "stuff". Lucky for me....who isn't " rollin'in moola"!

    Great find.
I have seen some great things on there with some ridiculous prices along with them though. You on the other hand seem to find some great things with reasonable prices..

Another good source to find things: FreeCycle.org. It helps you find one close to your home. Ours is not always very active, but I have found homes for stuff I had no way to sell, and someone is getting use of it. I am looking for some used coffee table legs for a project I want to make. I got an old/antique wooden serving tray with fancywork around the top. I doubt it is really antique, but it reminds me of antebellum peices. I want to put legs on it and paint it up for a table, perhaps to use on the porch in summer.
