We garden in the West Midlands/East Wales (We have to drive into Wales to get almost anywhere). My wife grows the vegetables and I grow the flowers. Though mainly they grow themselves these day. We are mostly self-sufficient in the food department. The cats keep down the vermin and the hens and duck keep down the pests. That is it really. Oh and I collect books on Gardening.

Hi Palustris and very glad that you have joined our growing community here at GardenStew :D :D :D I'd say it is a great feeling of satisfaction to be self-sufficient, at least you know what you eat!

Hope we all benefit from your knowledge in the months to come ;)
