Well I finished squaring up my split rail squares. I'll lay them out tomorrow while my cucumbers and onions soak in the ice/salt. This is my last quilt top! Whew!
I need to check my carrots and see if any are big enough to pull up. Cauliflower was on sale, so I bought one. Hopefully I can get a few carrots and I'll also make veggie pickles.

I added borders to the veteran quilt.

The edges didn't cone out flat, so I took them back apart and made some changes. Next, I'll quilt it.

I sewed together more of the border for the summer stars quilt. I have about ten feet of border now, of the 32 feet needed.

Also, I'm learning a new type of quilt block. It is more involved and takes a lot longer, but is more detailed in the end.

The arcs and quarter circle will be joined together. Then make a lot more and join to make spiky circles.

It will take a while :). Long term project to work on when I need a break from other things. It's good to learn new methods.

Daniel everything you do is so beautiful. As complicated as your quilts are kudos to you for each design you chose and colors and fabric choices are also extraordinarily unique.

I love the quilts, Daniel. I haven't done much because of canning and kitten saving (please see What have you done in the garden). But yours look great!

Number 2 quilt done. Number 1 of the grands. And it has the Minney stamp of approval!

Thanks Daniel! As for the quilting, I just meander and loopdeloop. I do that kind of design when I'm bored and doodle, too. Quilt number 3 is done. Except for the edge. I'm going to get variegated red at the quilt shop tomorrow. I quilted white on the front and variegated red on the back.

And here's the back....with Minney, of course!
