* Any ideas on what this pink flower is called?

    On one of my outings I came across this Very Largebush with beautiful flowers.
    so I pick a piece

    Any ideas on what it is.

    It looks like oleander to me. All parts of this plant are poisonous.

    It sure does look like an Oleander to me also.Be sure and check it out on search.It is very poisonous.
    It is a beauty of a plant.I want one so bad just to many kids around.

    Yep it is an Oleander and the most toxic plant around. Be very careful if you have pets or children.

    Thank you all. Something could happen with the pets even if I put it out front. Don't want it around if its poisonous.

    Gizmo,lots of plants are poisonus but this one is more so than most.

    We have Oleander all over here in FL. it comes in many colors, most pets do not bother outside plants, but then we have leash laws here so people walk their dogs, and if they let cats run they are stupid....there are too many preditors that can get them, cats belong in the house if you really care...

    Hi, Gizmo;
    Yep, I'm pretty sure that is a sprig from an oleander and what everybody is saying is very TRUE. That plant is highly toxic in all parts. I've even heard that breathing the smoke from burning them can cause serious problems. Hank
