Hey there, Growingpains--You have a new avatar!
I like that--just the thing to spring into the coming season with.
Please tell more about this froggie and how he got to where he is.

LOL Sjoerd, he visited my garden and I tried to kiss him!
I like having frogs in the garden. They help keep pests
under control . Most of the garden is near a creek, which means frogs
often visit, but so do Muskrats!

I like having frogs and toads in the garden as well. Muskrats....oh dear. Do you catch them and eat them?;)
Were you able to kiss that frog? If you were...well, a prince is nice to have, but difficult to maintain, I suspect.

I try to avoid touching frogs and toads because we were always told you would get warts. :(
Seriously, I love having them. Muskrats may be edible, but I gave up eating wild meat years ago. My dad killed squirrels. My brother killed rabbits. I helped clean chickens after Mother wrung their neck. As a newly wed, I cooked Pheasant and deer killed by my then husband.
Any meat I eat these days is store bought.

@Gail-Steman I wonder if the folktale thst you will get warts from touching toads is an American (US) tradition, but not British.

I suppose the wart warning is an Old Wive's Tale, much like "Never sweep the floor after dark" and many others. My post was quite, "Tongue in cheek".

At this stage and age, tattoos would turn from Butterflies
to poor critters whose wings were crushed by a Mack truck.
