It is a good passport photo form my view... our new ones only 2 years old now we look like convicts(we are not I can assure you) and the same photo we now have on our French Driving Licence and our latest addition is a Residency I.D Card/Permit which is vital to us, as it is our entitlement to reside in France as a non EU person...although I have always felt European for as long as I can remember.

 

Those were the days when most passport photos were taken by studios specialising in them. It was an old fashioned studio, I think it was even a "plate" camera.

 

Ours was a 5 Euros for 4 Photos at a Kiosk in the local supermarket....No convict number given though. unless it was coded..

 

Very interesting buildings. I too am saddened by the destruction of historical homes, buildings, the legacy of the past.
The freckles are adorable. My youngest son had freckles and there is a
wonderful photo of him, at maybe 3, somewhere. All of you were cute!

 

Thank you..my Sister had no freckles but like my Mother... my late Dad did and I did look like him so very happy with that to be honest. Never actually researched about Freckles..maybe I should....

 

Our daughter is the youngest of our three children.

I remember when she was a teenager my wife once criticised her for the shortness of her skirt.

I later showed her this photograph I took of her when she was 27, a year after the birth of our daughter. But it was the late sixties. I bought her a Singer sewing machine, she made dresses for our daughter and this amomg others, for herself
.



She got younger as she got older, here at 32.




Sadly her health started going downhill a few years after this.

 

I think we have all criticised our children and having done the same ourselves...We just see through different eyes...I realise how difficult it is for you at times, you do come over as a tower of strength to your beloved wife and she needs you more than ever of course, so you will have sorry days but you are only human so do not be too hard on you....

 

It's been awhile since I last posted a pic, and I've cut my hair since then...

 

@Doghouse Riley beautiful girl. So sorry your daughter has had health issues.

 

Easy to get it wrong it was his beloved wife who has MS and wheelchair bound, so do not beat yourself up..so easy to get it wrong...I am the expert it that...

 

Ah! Here I was thinking TWO in his family were taken ill. Still, MS is not easy. Life does have it's trials & tribulations.
And a beautiful woman.

 

When I was growing up my friend had freckles and curly hair, I haven't but I wish that I had both.

 

Freckles fade as you get older. Nice when you have a few, but not so when the freckles take over the whole of your skin colour.not a good look..mine were not too bad, you can see in my young girl photo... and laugh I do not mind I was the perfect well behaved child...not

 

I did post this sometime ago so here it is again. I'm in the middle of my two brothers. It's about 6 years ago.
