I found this pic in a book that Tetters got me for Christmas. It was taken about 50 years ago. I'm the one on the right and that's my schoolmate Peter on the left (I remember his stripey T shirt.) I think it was the day we went fossil hunting in the old chalk quarry, it wasn't a usual thing for us to go into town on our own at that age.

I also vaguely remember someone nearby taking pictures as I think we were fishing without a rod licence

 

That's a great photo @Zigs It's funny how we can remember certain things so clearly. When you said you remembered that striped shirt my mind went to a similar shirt I wore as a kid.
