Yes, Calomaar it was a great idea. It's been fun to see faces to go with all the names we chat with all the time. We are a fine looking bunch and I'm glad to know all of you.

Critterpainter, I too had issues when I first joined but I've got the photobucket thing down to a science now. You should give it a try.

I do use photobucket, but have, among other things, a frighteningly slow internet! Did'nt mean to hijack the thread...

When a pic says 640x460 or what ever that standard size is,, is that in the 500 pixel size. I'm just asking because of all the pics i take, and all that resizing one pic at a time,, is well,, frustrating.

And I agree whole heartily that we have a very great looking group of gardeners on this site!!! And the kindest people on the whole internet.

500px refers to the width of an image (vs. the 640px that you mentioned). As it says in the resizing help topic (here) it is a recommendation and we won't force it. However resizing to the recommended size makes the images quicker to download for those with slower internet connections and also it helps the page fit within the screen for those who use a 800x600 (or less ) resolution on their computer monitor. The 320x240 resize option in PhotoBucket is a good option.

    Hope this helps Biita.

Thank you Frank, I'll use that 320x240 option,, altho i think the pics are too small,, but it beats sitting here resizing them then having to upload them to photobucket.

I think i should be conciderate and do that!

    Thanks for the help.

This is not the best picture, but I my mother wanted to see my new haircut. So I had a co-worker take this picture this morning. I figured I would post it here for you all as well. :)

This is my "official" photo that I use for all things business, but isn't my style whatsoever. In reality, you'll rarely find me in anything nicer than a sweatshirt and jeans! LOL
