Are you getting your Notification / Subscription emails?

    Hi all,

    For anyone who had requested to receive a Forum Subscription email recently I wonder if you have been receiving them recently? I am investigating a possible problem.

    // update 22nd May - seems like members may be having problems receiving Notification emails also. If you are having difficulties let me know below.

    I haven't been getting anything, but I thought maybe it was because I was busy and hadn't posted much.....

    But I decided to check my profile and saw that the notify button was off. So, maybe I should have checked that first. :rolleyes:

    No e-mails from the Stew sounds familiar, but in my case it really is no e-mails at all, no notifications of any kind! :eek:
    A few weeks ago I started noticing, but thought it was a temporary glitch or something, no panic.
    So here I was, about to write a new post about this problem, and came across this post.
    I hope there's a solution, but it certainly isn't the end of the (GardenStew)world for me. If it can be solved, great, if not, no worries! :stew1:

    One day last week I noticed that I had no notifications from the Stew. At first I felt that I was abandoned... but a quick check to my spam folder revealed that for some reason my notifications were there. I simply with EMPHASIS clicked "not spam". No more missing notifications since then (I hope).

    Thanks for everyone's replies. Cheryl, I hate to hear that your Notifications were going into your Spam folder. Another member recently had this problem also. Are you using Gmail by any chance?

    Is anyone else having problem with Notification emails?

    I have been getting at least one of the forums I subscribed to. The other one I have just assumed there weren't any emails.

    Cayuga could you possibly check your Spam folder just in case and let me know if you find anything from the Stew in there?
    Just to clarify, you have been receiving the Forum Subscription / Digest email every day, not a topic reply email?

    I'm not subscribed to any of the forums, but I received an e-mail notice last week. No problems here!

    Frank, Ok, I just checked my emails. I had been getting the forum sub. notification daily until it stopped on 3/26 then resumed on 4/26. I am now getting them daily again. In the month that they stopped, they were not going into my spam folder (I checked).

    Frank... yes... I use Gmail. And I should have been more specific... I'm not subscribed to any of the particular forums.... .it was the usual topic reply notifications. And it was only for that one day.

    Thanks, Cherylad, just looked in my spam-box and guess what.... there were over 20 GardenStew e-mail notifications, going back to beginning of this month :eek:. I'm afraid the rest was deleted automatically, that's something Gmail does, I suppose.
    Thanks again, and Frank: looks like my problem is solved :stew1: .
    Somehow I always forget to check my spam, although several e-mails have found their way in there in the past, and I should have learnt that by now... :oops:

    I have to check my gmail.com accounts every week or so, non-spam is always getting stuck in the Spam folder there from GardenStew and others. :rolleyes:

    Frank, I haven't been getting forum subscription emails for a while. I checked and have nothing in spam. I also checked my Stew settings and have it set on subscribe.
    Wonder what is up?
