Yesterday, my dogs were carrying on for a long time, so I finally went and looked. There was a new fawn just a short distance from them. They are tied so could not reach him. I took his picture, and brought my dogs in early. When I checked him last night, he was alert and perked up; and this morning he had gone with his mother.
Its common for deer to bed down the fawns while they eat ! Mother will be back so do not worry ! Love the pic !
The fawn went with its mother in the night... I was surprised that it was just out of reach of my dogs. My dogs were quite excited, and the fawn scared of them.
