Well the last 2 years have been a little nuts. A heavy flood that killed a lot of things, a second flood and then a third minor one. Top it off with droughts of long dry spells and hotter than usual temps and I have not had a lot of happy gardening time. I would have never have thought that grass would suck the lif e out of everything so quickly when it gets that dry.

So now I am getting back into getting things back to where they were. Saving my blueberries in containers, nursing my wife's bulbs back to health and getting everything else growing so I can combat the weeds which seem to have thrived in the less than ideal conditions.

The only thing that doesn't seem to have cared so much is my mushroom bed. Too bad it doesn't fruit often enough to be considered decorative and the mushrooms don't last long enough either.

    Wish me luck.

Welcome back! Many of us have undergone the same disappointments, more or less, so we can sympathize. We'll all make it through together:fingerscrossed:!
