    Hello,
I recently (a month ago) purchased a bunch of bamboo running bamboo. I am not sure the exact variety. Anyway, I planted them in a nice potting soil and in large 16x13 containers (they were in I believe 5 gallon tubs when I got them). I have been watering them every other day when it does not rain here in Seattle. I started to notice the leaves are turning yellow.. and it kept progressing. Now, they are not as yellow as they were but still shedding alot of leaves and not the nice green they were when I got them. Is this normal? If not, any advice on what I can do to stop this?

Looks like you are over watering it. Don't water on a schedule, water when the leaves start to curl from being dry. Stop watering it now and wait until the leaves show you that it needs water, they can survive longer without water than you think.
