    Give the beans a mile high fence and they would be happy to climb to the sky. Looks like a good bean season. Nice crop Northerner.

    I have to admit, 100+ plants is a bit overwhelming. EverdEve I'm out there trying to train the vines to climb the fence. It should pay off though.

    Ofus, probably both. I'm thinking about doing a bunch of jars of dilly beans and giving them for Christmas gifts.

    Northerner, this must be the year of the bean. We have 8 rows of Blue Lake beans and they just keep on giving. We have eaten, frozen, given
    away and I have had my breakfast standing at the garden fence. I love munching on crisp beans, lettuce, little cukes, freshly picked.
