    Taken a few Opuntia cuttings, these are bedded in pure grit, no compost.

    Yep, cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti :)

    I mainly have cacti but I do have a few succulents too...

    Some succulents have spines like cacti, and indeed do look very like them. Cacti spines come out of (usually) fluffy aureoles and succulent spines usually come straight out of the plant body.

    Some seedpods appeared on the Mammillaria fraileana, these will be from flowers earlier in the year.
