Outside Opuntia has started flowering This one has been covered in snow in the winter.

 

Copiapoa barquitensis. This only gets watered a few times a year but gets a few sprays of rainwater a week to mimic the Atacama Desert where they live. This only gets about 2mm of rain a year but gets the mist that comes up off the Pacific Ocean known as the Camanchaca.

 

Ooops...didn't read the posts about them being his nieces. Makes my posts kinda creepy.

Where are you getting these Grumpy bears from? I don't think I've ever seen one until you posted Grumpy.

They come from the same mountain in Argentina that the Dancing Cacti come from. That's why they look grumpy as they're always getting slapped by them
