I was picking various flowers and filler in the flower beds, getting ready to make a mixed bouquet. It occurred to me that bouquets and people are best "mixed." A bouquet of all one kind of flower doesn't let any flower be appreciated, and it's pretty but rather monochromatic. A mixed bouquet lets each flower be appreciated for itself and show off its neighboring flowers.
People are the same--mixing colors and types make for a more interesting culture and each can be appreciated for what it brings to the bouquet.

I could not agree more. It is one of the most important lessons in life that I have learned and held dear. Now you have drawn the connection of a bouquet.
    Wise woman that you are.

I mix colours and types of flowers as I think they look so much better than shop bought bouquets where everything is almost identical.
