My first water lily was blooming yesterday! Lemon Mist ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) And at the same time, some of the Louisiana Black Gamecock Iris are open. Water Lily and Water Iris ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) And as I walked around to the other side, I noticed the Pink Pickerel in the "trough" was blooming too! 3 water plants ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) There's also a small Yellow Water Iris right behind the "fisherboy".. Why couldn't it have been nice and tall so it could get in the photo too? Oh well.. maybe next time. I was trying different angles to get the water lily and iris in the same photo... so here's my "frog-eye's" view. They all look so pretty. My Gamecock Iris aren't blooming yet but they are putting on a lot of growth. I really need to muck out their tub, that might help
Toni... my Gamecocks have pretty much finished blooming. I'm curious as to when your's will start. Same with you Fountainman. Eileen... that first one seems to be the prettiest. Droopy... looking forward to your's putting all sorts of new growth and lovely blooms. Thanks everyone!
