My first water lily was blooming yesterday!

And at the same time, some of the Louisiana Black Gamecock Iris are open.

And as I walked around to the other side, I noticed the Pink Pickerel in the "trough" was blooming too!

There's also a small Yellow Water Iris right behind the "fisherboy".. Why couldn't it have been nice and tall so it could get in the photo too?
    Oh well.. maybe next time.
I was trying different angles to get the water lily and iris in the same photo... so here's my "frog-eye's" view.

And among the various photos I took playing while playing around, I liked this one of the little fisherboy.

They all look so pretty. My Gamecock Iris aren't blooming yet but they are putting on a lot of growth. I really need to muck out their tub, that might help

Toni... my Gamecocks have pretty much finished blooming. I'm curious as to when your's will start. Same with you Fountainman.

Eileen... that first one seems to be the prettiest.

Droopy... looking forward to your's putting all sorts of new growth and lovely blooms.

    Thanks everyone!
