I have started a series by Linda Castillo, and they are murder mysteries that take place in Amish Country in Ohio. The first one is called Sworn to Silence. The Cheif of Police in a small village in Holmes County Ohio was brought up Amish but left at age 17. I like the books as I am familiar with Holmes county and as the cheif drives down the roads etc, I can picture it in my mind. The story lines move right along and she only writes the background info that you need for the story. Once you start them, they are hard to put down. There are 4 books in the series and I am on number 2 now.
Isn't it nice when you find a series of books that really hold your interest? My husband is a Terry Pratchet fan and I think he's got every single book he's ever written.
