Brought New Aquarium

    @Logan, @Sjoerd when I woke this morning I found that my fish showed better in the living room in the dark, so I did one for 4mins sorry about my shadow in the back ground.

    They look happy in there Gail its relaxing watching them, i cheat and use a screen saver on tv :D thanks for sharing :)

    I like your screen saver always have done but hubby did one on his iPhone and showed the colours right up mate on my guppies...here's the video it's a lot nicer.:)

    I just want to add two more guppies which died on me and 2 more red tips as hubby likes them, those blue ones are b's for going at the others constant :mad:

    I know very little about aquariums Gail but i do know some fish are not compatible with each other they will fight just be careful what you put together.

    Mine are all ok to be together...where I had the Albion suckers from said when they get bigger as they go territorial they'll take them back and gives me young again which is good...i'm not overloading mart because of algae growth and I've got more blue lights on it than red so it's more dimmed.

    Well I went and brought new filtrations today for my filter when it needs changing £6-99 for 3 more expensive than my others :shrug:….took a water sample this morning, then changed water by removing 3 buckets and re-adding them with AquaSafe and API stresscoat and zyme.

    The cycle must be running nicely with the fish now added as my readings was this.

    pH 7.6
    Ammonia 0.25ppm
    Nitrite 0.50ppm
    Nitrate 5.0ppm

    I took this video but found my tablet takes them better so will do one tomorrow and two lives plants have been added also :)

    I've got one neon tetra in there I forgot to mention it, ste brought it back when he took those fish in but it's doing well a nice size and either swims on it's own or with the Guppies :)

    You should have a minimum of 6 tetras Gail, as it’s a scholing fish.
