Unusually for the UK we actually experienced a warm and sunny Bank Holiday earlier this week and along with thousands of other people we took full advantage of it and visited one of our favourite National Trust properties only a dozen or so miles from home. This was the first time we have been there in the spring and it was a very different garden that we saw and with views normally obscured by trees. I'll post a selection of my favourites and the link to the whole album. One day I hope to manage a trip to Buscot Park to see everything foe myself. If it's half as good as your photographs then I'll be there for hours drinking it all in. Many thanks for showing us your photographs.
You'd have a fabulous time Eileen. We go almost every year but there is always something new to see and admire. In the Summer the roses are stunning and they grow vegetables in among the flowers in the walled gardens. I love listening to some of the less-enlightened visitors who make adverse comments about doing that Most importantly though, they do lovely cake in the Tea-room
