The berries have an interesting purple color but I have no clue as to it's name. Location is East Tennessee. Jerry
Hi Jerry, I'm no good regarding berry plants sorry, I do know we have red berries up our back garden but this shows all berries and also the countries they originate from http://namethatplant.net/gallery_glossary_1.shtml?term=berry
Could it be this one Jerry - Callicarpa bodinieri Profusion - Beauty Berry. My neighbour has one in her garden and it has lovely purple berries.
Your welcome Jerry, Like I said I only know the red berry up our back the birds like and omg the poor slabs
Oh, beauty berry is a native american berry bush that you can make this lovely lavender/pink jelly out of... if you pick a million add a million pounds of sugar and something else to give it flavor... just sayin' from a bit of experience.... https://www.tableandhearth.com/2017/02/beautyberry-jelly-water-canning-basics.html
Callicarpa americana (American Beautyberry, French Mulberry) very common in our area, they are almost indestructible.
