 You have delphiniums already? You're at least a month ahead of me! You've got some gorgeous blooms in that garden of yours.

Yes Donna. Usually all Sat. is for gardening unless something comes up (like a trip somewhere else that requires all weekend - not that often!)
And well, Sundays are for resting, etc.
I am not that religious but it's one of the things I observe.

Yes Droopy... I'd say it's Delph. peak time! And they really look great. All the rains we had did them good!

    And

    Hi Calin,
i made myself a mug of tea before starting the slideshow,..as ever soooo many plants in bloom for you,..i love those Fritillaria imperialis,..and the Dicentra spectabilis,..two plants i must look out for,..the last tour i took i swore i would get myself a Clematis,..that i did,..but given as a present due to a hint and a nudge.

Your Lupins and Delphiniums are far in advance to mine,..no blooms as yet,..but fingers crossed.

Very enjoyable looking at all those blooms.

    Thanks Philip.
SO you got a Clematis. You will love it and get some more I am sure.
I started with one and now got about 5 ???
Hint and nudge? I wish I had some people around (family, friends) I could try out this technique on!

    Here's some more!

Clematis Gizela in full bloom I'd say
    [IMG]

Delphiniums in all their glory (like never before) - don't mind the huge nettle in the middle. Somehow I was reluctant to pull it out!
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Lupine and Digitalis
    [IMG] [IMG]

Kinda ground covering, but still up to 15-20 cm high. Edraianthus tenuifolius
    [IMG] [IMG]

SO far the only Penstemon to bloom (Husker's Red) but I got some other seedling Blue, and Blue&pink mix - not sure what these look like.

A cute chocolate scented Berlandiera lyrata - kinda in shade, will have to find another spot.

Gosh Calin you have so many beautiful blooms in your garden. I think my favourite though has to be your Clematis Gizela with its almost black flowers. :-D

    Hi Calin,
i like your Clematis Gizela,..nice colour and a big bloom,..since i last posted i acquired two cuttings from clematis,..they should take,..oh the name of the gift Clematis is "Clematis Cirrhosa",'Freckles'.

Your Delphiniums,..in all their glory,..yes they are looking fantastic,..i take it they will grow to 5 Ft or 150 cm,..mine are still only about 2 Ft high or 60 cm,..your Lupins give me hope for some good blooms,..well done there with yours.

    Thanks!
Wow Philip. That frecled one is cute. Haven't seen it around.
Looks like a kid took a crayon and colored over a white one.
    Hope the cuttings take!

My delphs... not sure how tall they are. But I hope they get taller !!!

BP. Well, I am not that religious, but my parents are and observe the rule "sunday's for rest!"...so I must obey.

Teo... I hope the seeds are fine.
One is growing quite tall and the other one is rather a ground cover!

    Good luck!
