From a grove of incredible superior fruiting pecans. Easy to open and super flavorful. Years ago, LSU School of Agriculture crossed trees and ended up with this. Keep in mind, it takes about twenty years to evaluate a tree and its seed production. This one was a winner.

We have several pecan trees... 7 I think. And although all have produced lots of nuts this year... it's hardly worth dealing with them. A couple of trees produced pretty well. I'd say that at least half of the pecans good. And from the rest... it's more like 1 out of 4.
I need to win the lottery so I can buy one of those industrial pecan shellers.
