We have a butterfly waterer in the garden--shallow and small. We thought it was for butterflies, but it seems cats take over anything they want. Here is Timi, sitting in about 1" of water, and taking up the butterflies' space.

Do you have a pet that takes over something entirely inappropriate simply because it can?

Oh yes!! After all cats are supposed to dislike water so Timi is obviously making sure that even the butterfly water is encompassed into his territory. Don't you just love cats?
