    Very nice!
    I've been binge-watching "The Great British Baking Show". I have never heard of marzipan or royal icing until watching that series. My Christmas present is the cookbook from the latest contest. It's very nice.

    That cake looks mouth watering. Sadly none of our lot like 'real' Christmas cake so I make a sultana cake instead which disappears rapidly.

    Thank you Daniel and Eileen some people don't like Christmas cake or the Christmas puddings, they're too rich.
    Daniel great that you have a new cookery book, I hope that you can use it a lot. Can make marzipan but I prefer to buy it and I found that Sainsbury's is the best. Let the marzipan dry out for a day before putting the icing on.
