Container pond trouble shooting!

    So are you going to bring it into your house? They can live in cold water as long is it doesn't freeze.

    Oh and by the way, they can bet larger than a foot. Same as Koi, most of them won't get that large, so don't worry.

    Definitely not brining it inside for the winter. We live in Georgia near the coast, and it rarely gets below freezing.

    Oh OK. Well algae is not really a bad thing. It helps clear up bad things in the water. It's only natural. Out of control stuff can be harvested just like a garden outside.
