Hello! Is there a way to prevent tomatoes from cracking from too much rain? I’m in central Florida and we have been getting lots of rain lately. My poor tomatoes are all cracked!
You may try to retard transpiration in some way. That temp swing can be modified to a degree with white translucent material. Its sold in rolls but many use thin sheets.
Odif has an excellent suggestion there. Where I live rain is an annual challenge, so I grow my toms in a greenhouse and I am religiously regular with watering. This may not be feasible for you this year, but perhaps in the future.
