I saw something in a magazine and showed it to Mike and asked him what it is. He said it was a rotary wheel so I had to ask if he knew where to get one. He didn't just get me one..he got me 14! In the magazine there was one painted like a sun but I think they would look cute painted like flowers also. What do you think? They are about 20 inches across.

I think they're just crying out to be painted in bright colours and made into flowers. I can hardly wait to see how they look once they are all done. Lucky you having a husband that not only listens but acts on what he hears you say. :stew2:

That's great! I see colorful paint of most of them too, but I would be inclined to keep one or two as they are...

I thought I'd post the first ones up. They aren't painted but we did spray them with Floods Penetrol so they didn't rust more and stain the building. The building is a 36 long x 20feet wide x the walls are 12 feet tall. Anytime I look out the glass door in the office I stare at that huge white monstrosity. However it isn't going to get painted so I'm trying to cover it up as much as possible. now junk finds 001 (Small).JPG now junk finds 002 (Small) (2).JPG

If that spider goes missing don't come to Scotland to find it will you?:fingerscrossed: I won't come in the dark of night and spirit it away so if it crawls off on it's own it's nothing to do with me OK? :whistling:

I am jealous:D I love that "Rusty Gold" I have a few pieces around the place and am always on the lookout for more. I saw some cool ones on ebay but the shipping was out of this world!! I think it adds warmth and character to the yard

I check on e-bay when I first saw them and, wow, they were pricey. Because of the price we thought of putting some on e-bay but I felt the hassle was not worth the money plus there we so many of them, and I'm not really 'into' that. Besides I plan on painting some of them when things slow down in the gardens this fall and winter and making the rest into a short fence with pipe welded to the top and bottoms so they wouldn't stab someone if they fell on it.
