Daylilies starting to bloom in Iowa

    Here is the first flower open on a daylily I added last year.I think it is pretty spectacular! Wild & Wonderful is the name & it fits!

    Yes,this isn't the camera. The bloom is huge.Unfortunately there are only 3 buds. But it is a tiny plant & may have been very stressed last fall.According to it's credentials it should be a heavy bloomer when it gets going.
