Well,, partly true I guess ! I was mostly taught to cook by my grandmother and then my mother ! The breakfast and noon meal were enough for an army ! Dinner was just catch as catch can ! Our meals were cooked in large amounts because she fed our family and my aunt and uncle and his three boys she my grand dad and her sister that lived with them,, Then me and my younger brother and anyone else that dropped in ! I still cook in larger amounts than for two people ! Old habits are hard to break ! But I have plenty of home made tv dinners ! Just in case ! Now if I can teach hubby how to use the microwave !
