I was so excited to see the eagle in our trees my hands were shaking...It was tearing apart something, most likely a fish from Lake Winneconne where we have just moved into our new home at the end of September. Nov. 2, 2017 018 (2).jpg

I was in the living room and I saw him fly to our trees so I grabbed my camera that I keep close to the porch door and quickly went outdoors.....it is chilly here and I didn't even bother waiting to get a jacket on...

What a great thrill, and great pictures under all the excitement.

How wonderful to see such a magnificent beast...and to be able to photograph it.
Well done, Sherry. How are things out at the lake, BTW? Are you enjoying it there? Keep your eyes open for Bill--he may have stowed-away in the moving van. ;)

You are a character Sjoerd...I love it! We haven't had much time to enjoy it yet. My grandson with a hematoma on his spine and putting my father in law in a nursing home and another problem that just came up...we just melt in our chair in exhaustion at night and sip a glass of wine... :)

Your time to enjoy your new lakeside home will come, and be all the better for the wait.
An eagle--how wonderful is that! Thank you for grabbing your camera instead of a jacket, and sharing your photos with us.
