When the guys who cut my grass do the edging, the power edger chips away an inside corner of a walkway. Is there another way to edge a corner like that without damaging it, other than with a pair of shears? (Don't want to use a weed eater either, since that cuts the grass too short.) I had the walkway painted, and all the gray concrete you see is what they've done since then. Thanks.

Probably not since the power edger does not know where the walkway is or that you have repainted it ! I suggest getting a small wooden stake and insert it across the corner to protect it ! That would keep the damaging teeth away or at least it would get the wood rather than the walkway ! Just paint it to match the walkway !

That would be pretty ugly. I thought of various solutions along that line but rejected them. I guess I'll just have to do it with shears.
