Hi! Well, we need to stain the exterior of our house and paint the stucco. It has cedar siding that is a taupe color, off white stucco and stone exterior. The shutters are navy as well as the front door. We need to replace the roof and gutters as well. I was thinking a gray and white combination might be nice (Nantucket style), but maybe that would not work with this house? What are your thoughts? My style is traditional. Thank you so much for your helpful input!! ( photo / image / picture from jennyp's Garden )
Just as a thought I like contrast. A light burgundy might look nice, but it's hard to tell from the photo. I'm partial to red's and blue's so my Thoughts may not fit. Very nice landscaping and lawn!
I would stick with Deep blues for the main color pallette and for the door I would do a rustic deep red, very inviting from the street!
I like burgundy as well. Little darker burgundy will work for you if you are bold enough go for brighter shade. Gray and white combinations are safe deals. Also must say that very nice house.
I love your Nantucket instincts and color direction ideas. I would select a gray with warm tones to accent your brick for the roofing material. Lovely home by the way.
Wow what a beautiful home! I am always partial to painting the door red I think it is such a great mix of classic and modern look.
