I use a generous amount of Espoma Potash - mix it in the soil before planting seeds. Taters are a heavy feeder of potassium.

I understand plants can take up more potassium than they can use. Have you cut it back to see how little works or do you use a high feequency low dosage regimen?

I tried with out it with very little success. I watched some vids for advice. Since then I have experimented with dosages. I grow in a 20 gallon grow bags - so far my generous amount - enough to cover surface area mixed in has produced the best yields for me. After that I fertilize every couple of week with a general organic liquid fertilizer.
