Does anyone know how to compost fish for fertilizer? I have used fish before by burying it in the ground a month earlier and it worked great. I have also read that you can put a fish head in the bottom of a bucket for growing tomatoes so I need some advice before doing this and killing any of my plants. I would think that this would be a good way to get awesome greenery growth before getting all of my plants to flower.

I know if you take fish bones you can make bone meal, by grounding it up. Uncooked ofcourse. Seaweed is another great fertiliser from the sea also. That is what i use, the seaweed.

I am sure someone can help better than i can here. I just have not heard of using the whole fish.

My dad used to just dig a hole near a tree he wanted to fertilize and then just put the fish head, guts, etc. in there and cover it up.
