60's theme at my dance studio last night. Some of us chose to dress the part. Man I wish I still had my wardrobe from my teens! I could really rock those bell bottoms and tie dye!!
You all look like you had a great time. I love the vest and blouse you are wearing!! I didn't get a chance to follow the fashion of the 60's. In 1964 I turned 18 in April, graduated from high school in May, then got married in June. After that I was expected to grow up and be boring....so that's what I did. I never wore bell bottoms and didn't have anything tie-dyed. I didn't even get to enjoy listening to any of the music of that era until the late 1977 when I started life over again.
Best era! Music too was the best. Marty Wilde, Elvis, Billy's Fury, Eden Kane, Gene Vincent , many more. Sir Cliff Richard was my first love... K
I wish I still had all my clothes from the 60ies too. They were so comfortable and flashy in their own 1960's way
