A few of my photos of the flowers in the mountains. From the depths of snow.
I love the variety of flowers you've shown us Kildale. Some are familiar to me but others I haven't seen before. Two of my favourites are the Tall Mountain Shooting Star and the Bronze bells both of which I'd love to have in my garden.
@Kildale those are stunning. What is your growing zone?
Not sure what the zone is but I'm in Victoria and visit Mt Washington and Hurricane Ridge in the summer when the snows leave the mountains. Also visited the Rockies a few times and Manning Park .
Just looked it up, you are a zone 8 this is also the same type of growing that a lot of the people in south and central UK have.
Stunning show @Kildale but what took my eye was the... American Bistort, Polygonum bistortoides.
I love the columbian lily.... everything was beautiful!
Thank you all for taking a few moments to look at the flowers.
