    Yup Myles it is.

M2 means Myles II or Myles Jr. or Myles the Second. You get the drift.

    Almost all gone.

Just thought I would post an update to this.

The groud ivy is almost all gone. One more dose of murder-death-kill (also known as "Killex") and they should be all gone.

Only it is now that I realize I had a crappy lawn to start with. Nothing grows well under my trees. Will have to come up with another solution in spring to spruce up the yard.

Nice to hear that the ground ivy is almost gone Myles. Did it creep into the neighbour's like you feared.

What kind of state is your lawn in? Patchy? Yellow? We're here to help ;)

    Thanks Frank

Yup, it started to spread but I nipped it in the bud(ding leaf).
Sprayed the lawn for them too.

Not patchy or yellow, just sparce. I see almost as much dirt as grass, plus the needles from the trees, makes it look less than stellar.

In spring I am going to put a border around the trees with wood chips inside the border and then fertilize the grass and maybe put down more seed. I think. Kinda up in the air right now.

Any other suggestions are more than welcome.

    Myles

    Spring has sprung...

and now I am back. :D
Been awhile since I last posted here.

My good old weed problem has come back.
Killex is supposed to be the olny product that will kill this creeping charlie guy.
It worked last year, but came back twice as strong this year and three dosses of Killex so far have done nothing to stunt it's growth.
Spreading to my neighbor's yard and through my flower beds.

I have spent a huge number of $'s on poisons and other noxious toxicity with no luck. Time to call in a professional hitman to eliminate my evil ivy nemesis. :scheming:

    Wish me luck.

    Whose back?

    I'm back!

    Who esle?

    My arch enemy Charlie!

    Arghhh!

Although wifey thinks he goes by a different name, but she is not sure what.

I will take some HUGE pictures from every possible angle and colour spectrum then post here to see what the stew of experts can come up with.

Was Charlie never charlie at all?
Has Charlie moved over and let a new terror take over?
Is Charlie still there but in disguise?
Is Wifey just playing mind games telling me the weed is a weed by another name?
Am I in an odd mood?

Stay tuned to see the shocking conclusion to this loooong saga.

Love the new site design Gardenstew.
Every time I come back it looks new and fresh.
