Yes it's surprising how plants can grow back in the hard surfaces that we make.

That was nice of you to post that, Loggie. I saw that Carol K. Is going to do a series on there this season. That ought to be helpful for some folks.

We watch it every friday evening. It has gotten to be part of our gardening. I like the show that takes place up in Scotland. I wonder when that will begin again.

Thanks, I'm not sure if it's on yet but it's a Scottish show so it will be at different times in the UK.

During the 90’s when garden design/plants was king, there were many interesting gardens showing the diversity of plants on tv from different countries. There were so many in the 90’s. A lot from England and many lovely garden tours in England , European countries and other countries. Many areas in England have the same garden climate as in the PNW.
My daughter worked in England on a concert tour and she brought me back some really different plants that were not in the US yet. I think England always was way ahead of the nurseries in the US during the 90’s.
I always enjoyed the Garden International competition Show at Kew every year with entries from all over the world. Don’t hear much about it the last few years. Honestly I would rather watch garden shows any time than the seasonal tv shows on now. So on to You Tube where the internet has some of the garden shows of the past and present.

    Below just a few favorites.

Oh Loggie, you are a gem. I shall tik it in to record it, in case I forget.
Thank you so much for your trouble.

You know Loggie, I like that show quite a lot because they cover normal things done in normal ways…and they do “trials”.

    Cheers

Pac, I like the old shows and series’ as well.
I have visited Kew twice and was totally amazed. I spent the entire day there. One can simply look the eyes right out of their head.
I view the portion of British society that gardens in some form. They really are the go-to country for knowledge and expertise in my experience. They are proper gardeners.
