    Hi all,

Just backing up photos from the site this morning and thought I would share a statistic. In a little under two years since the photo upload feature was added we have collectively uploaded just under 19000 photos.

Also the number of plant images uploaded to GardenStew Plants (formerly PlantStew) now stands at 2619 images. Just amazing.

Thank you all for embracing these features!

Wow that is great being new here I enjoy being able to share photo's with people that enjoy the same things I do. I do not know much about plants if it's unique I buy it. I am hoping to learn a lot by joining!

By the way ... when did we change the name of Plant Stew?

I changed the name just over a year ago to make it consistent with the rest of the features i.e.
    GardenStew Forums
    GardenStew Blogs
    GardenStew Gardens
    GardenStew Plants

If you notice the logo changes to show the section you are currently in. I think visitors value consistency :)

Since it began two years ago GardenStew Plants has seen almost quarter of a million visitors pass through its doors. Believe me, it is useful and visible! I should really set up a statistics page someday.

A quarter of a million visitors!!!! I think a lot of those are just lil' ol' me, I am always looking up info there.
Everyone has done a fantastic job with the photos, info and personal comments on each of the plant pages.

I buy a plant and come home to check the information here on GS about it because a lot of times the tag with the plant is either too generic or downright wrong. I would much rather go with information from actual gardeners in and around my area than a nursery in another part of the country.

Well actually the stats are unique visitors. So that means it just counts one of your visits each day. So over the course of two years that would be a maximum 730 visits for you Toni :)

Know what I find thrilling? Is doing a Google search for some plant and seeing a GardenStew link or photo as one of the results. So yep... I believe those numbers of visitors! Congrats to Frank and the other administrators for making and keeping this site a great source of info (and fun).
