Perhaps I should have posted this under Jokes and Games, but here goes:

Medieval lady: Sir Knight, why dost thou wear your full armor? Are you going on a crusade?
Sir Knight: Nay fair lady, I'm preparing to give my cat a pill.

Oh boy do I remember the days of dosing cats with pills!! The vets would leave it to me as they didn't want scratched or bitten - really caring eh? I actually became a dab hand at rolling cats in blankets with just their heads sticking out, tucking them under one arm and dosing them with my free hand. I did take a few very painful bites and claw marks up and down my arms before I perfected it though.

Hahaha! I can relate. Like Eileen I found a quick and painless way to give them their meds. That doesn't mean I didn't fail now and then.

Not having a cat, I don't know. Can the pill be crushed and mixed with kitty's favorite food?

That's what I do for Rufus (dog).

Daniel, crushing and mixing doesn't work with a cat. Cats can tell if their dinner has been "messed with" and will let you know loud and long that a medicated meal is not acceptable!
