The first photo shows a poor specimen (from above) of this plant...out in my jungle. The second is of a few cuttings I'm propagating. This plant has no thorns, no flower that I know of and small clumps of a few green leaves that seem to form willy nilly up the stalks and has milk sap.

Is it some type of euphorbia? :stew1:

That reminds me of Pachysandra terminalis. It can spread and form thick mats if uncontrolled.

Thanks FlowerFreak, but the leaf looks very different to those on the internet and it definitely doesn't spread. I've just taken a clearer shot of the leaves...hope that helps.

Don't thinks it's a Pachysandra, their leaves are coarsely toothed along the edges.

If it is a Euphorbia there are about 2000 species so you might have to wait until it get more mature to know which one it is.

2000 species!!! that's a lot of looking at photos on the net. The plant in the garden is fairly mature, it doesn't get much taller than that :'( only about 1 or so feet maximum...in my garden, which is very arid most of the time.
