I have found conflicing information on the net towards care of this plant, so bringing it here for clarification.
Last fall I bought a dwarf papyrus, and immediately repotted. I would really like to place the plant in the water, at the shallows.
Some sites say it should have access to aire/be on land...bear the water, but not in it. Others say I can plant the crown 1 to 4 inches into the actual pond. What say ye, my aqua gardening friends? Anyone growing this plant, and had success with it in water? We are going to be putting out a larger pond in March or April, and I'd like to use this plant there. The other, smaller pond already is planted up to the hilt.
Also, any suggestions on division, and when to do so? will I 'see' the time to do this?
There will be fish in this pond...how do I fertilize the plant without harming the fish?
    TY :stew1:
