I haven't seen the Cooper's Hawk for quite a few weeks. That doesn't mean he wasn't at my pergola, just that I didn't notice him..He stayed for quite a while and it was snowing. He is one of the smaller ones that visit.

he really is beautiful, just a shame for the smaller birds, though I would rather have him than a cat stalking the little birds!

Don't those eyes look sharp and alert?
He looks so nice sitting there in the snow. Lovely fotos and always so welcome to see.

Great piccies Sherry. Our sparrowhawk is visiting a few times daily at the moment as the weather is so atrocious.

That's a lovely bird. And he looks quite at home with you too. I'd have loved to see more hawks around here. They're quite rare and I'm in raptures with every sighting.

We had an eagle go over the other day but I cannot get a bird flying with my camera. Its wingspan was so-----------large and it was beautiful. They are gorgeous creatures.
